The field of economics examines the difficult choices that societies, governments, businesses, and individuals make to distribute resources to maximize results. With a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of La Verne, students will learn to explain and forecast how an economy will perform, and develop analytical tools for determining the attractiveness of industries, markets, and behaviors that will yield the best results.<\/p>\n

The Senior Project course will give students the opportunity to participate in undergraduate research as they analyze an economic issue under faculty guidance.<\/p>\n

    The college also offers economics<\/a> as a minor, as well as business administration<\/a>, business management<\/a>,\u00a0or marketing<\/a>, to allow students to customize their education to support their interests.<\/p>\n
