University of La Verne\u2019s Master of Science in Financial Analytics<\/span> is a STEM-designated degree program offered through in-person and hybrid modalities that prepares students for successful careers with a broad understanding of financial economics and the ability to solve complex problems and develop strategies to guide the financial health of a company or organization.<\/p>\n

Learning Outcomes\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

By completion of the MSFA degree, students will be able to:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Preparedness for industry certifications and licensures \u2013 CFA, CFP, CIMA, SIE, Series 6, Series 7, etc.<\/li>\n
  2. Application of advanced financial modeling techniques and software: e.g., SAS, R, Python<\/li>\n
  3. Incorporation of AI and ESG into financial decision-making<\/li>\n
  4. Effective communication of financial information<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Program Requirements<\/h2>\n

    In addition to the foundation courses, the\u00a0<\/span>Financial Analytics<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>degree will require students to complete 30 semester hours of coursework. Of the 30 semester hours, 21 semester hours are completed by the core courses. In addition, 6 semester hours will be completed by 2 elective courses. The remaining 3 semester hours are fulfilled by the Culminating Activity.<\/p>\n
