BUS 242 Mock Interview Program

The Judge Edmond Emmett O’Brien and Muriel Faith O’Brien Career Center in the University of La Verne’s College of Business guides students and alumni in their search for meaningful and rewarding careers, and equips them with the resources needed to advance with confidence and professionalism.

Students and alumni can make an appointment weekdays 8-5 to discuss career plans, get career advice, search for internship and job opportunities and more. In addition, the O’Brien Career Center is open for walk-in consultation, no appointment needed, at these times:

• Tuesdays: 3:00pm-4:00pm
• Wednesdays: 9:00am-10:00am

Ongoing Activities Throughout Spring Semester

• Weekly Employer Recruiting Events: bring in private sector employers and government agencies to conduct recruiting/information sessions for students and recent graduates (collaboration with other career services departments). Events are in-person and virtual.
• Career Advising Appointments for undergraduates, graduates, and alumni
• Employer Development: reaching out to recruiters to create new contacts
  First Destination Outreach: contacting graduates from the 7/1/2022 – 6/30/2023 cohort to gather career outcomes data and to assist nonworking graduates with their job searches.
