Julia Ruedas, MPA<\/a>\u00a0a graduate in the Master’s of Public Administration in 2018, has been selected as the 48th Assembly District’s\u00a02022\u00a0Woman of the Year, in the category of public service. She currently sits on the board of the\u00a0El Monte City School District<\/a>\u2019s Board of Education\u00a0and\u00a0has accepted this award virtually at the Woman of the Year Ceremony, on Wednesday, March 23, 2022. Ruedas has been named 2017’s\u00a0\u201cLatina to Watch\u201d by Hispanas Organized for Political Equality<\/a>, a nonprofit organization committed to ensuring political and economic parity for Latinas and\u00a02017’s \u201cSpirit of La\u00a0Verne Award\u201d by the University of La\u00a0Verne for her exceptional community engagement.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
