As the famed football coach Vince Lombardi said, \u201cleaders are made, they are not born.\u201d Our organizational management program prepares students for positions of leadership in any field or industry. Through the use of hands-on learning projects, students apply what they learn in the classroom to enhance their skills in communication, management, leadership, and ethical decision making so that they can successfully lead teams in the workplace.<\/p>\n

While studying foundational and advanced concepts in organizational behavior, students will learn from dedicated faculty and have access to state-of-the-art facilities, career advising, and numerous professional development opportunities all designed to prepare them for a wide range of careers.<\/p>\n

    Course Highlights<\/h2>\n

    The Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management<\/a> provides students with a comprehensive education of organizations. Classes are offered online, hybrid, and in-person at the La Verne Campus and several of our regional campuses. The degree can also be completed fully online<\/a>.<\/p>\n

    The first part of the program consists of core courses that establish a foundation of management, leadership, culture, financial budgets, ethics, and organizational behavior. Core coursework also includes an opportunity for undergraduate research.<\/p>\n

    The second part of the program consists of a wide range of electives from a variety of disciplines, which gives students the utmost flexibility in customizing their curriculum to suit their interests or career goals. Students also have an option to pursue a concentration in human resources management.<\/p>\n

    The college also offers minors in\u00a0business administration<\/a>, business management<\/a>, economics<\/a>, or marketing<\/a> to allow students to customize their education to support their interests.<\/p>\n

    At the University of La Verne, our academic programs are led by professors who are experts in their fields. Our small class sizes lead to a more engaging classroom experience and a low student-to-faculty ratio allows faculty more time to get to know students and advise them on educational and career goals.<\/p>\n
