The University of La Verne’s Organizational Management degree seeks to improve students’ managerial, organizational, and interpersonal skills. The program is constructed in two parts. The first part consists of core classes that help students build skills that are critical in a constantly changing environment, with a focus on immediate application in the work setting. Core coursework also includes an opportunity for student research. The second part of the program consists of a wide range of electives from a variety of disciplines, which gives students the utmost flexibility in customizing their curriculum to suit their proposed career path.
To provide maximum convenience and flexibility, the program is offered online and is available at several locations throughout California, including Bakersfield, Burbank, Irvine, Ontario, Rio Hondo Community College, and Santa Clarita, as well as Naval Base Ventura County.
Campus Accelerated Program for Adults
Through La Verne’s Campus Accelerated Programs for Adults (CAPA), students can complete the Bachelor’s in Organizational Management on either a full or part-time basis. The program’s flexibility allows busy adults to continue their education while working. Online, on-campus, and hybrid course options allow students to create their own schedule. Furthermore, evening and weekend classes make it easy to balance work and school. Students can transfer up to 88 credit hours towards their degree from previous college classes.
Organizational Management Courses
Students must complete a minimum of 40 total credit hours in order to earn their Bachelor’s in Organizational Management. The core requirements consist of business management courses, while the diverse array of electives allow for a well-rounded education.
