Undergraduate Students

The Dr. Rita Patel Thakur Academic Advising Center provides a welcoming, approachable, and inclusive environment for students. Undergraduate students at the La Verne Campus who are majoring in BS Accounting, BS Business Administration, and BS Economics are assigned a dedicated academic advisor to work with throughout their journey to complete their bachelor’s degree. We encourage you to meet with your academic advisor as often as possible. Learning more about you helps your academic advisor to mentor you, connect you with university resources, and recommend activities and organizations within and outside the university to support your personal and professional growth. Academic Advisors lead their students to develop their own graduation and career plans as well as guide their students to stay on track to graduate.

Regional Campuses

CAPA, La Verne Online, and Military Centers

Academic advising for our Regional Campuses including CAPA, LaVerne Online, and Military Centers.  Academic advising begins on the student’s first visit to the regional campus or military center.  Students work closely with an academic advisor in selecting major and choosing courses each term that best suits their degree and career plans.  See below for contact information.
