Hands-On Learning Opportunities
Students in the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration program get a chance to test their skills in the real world of business through the Integrated Business Curriculum. This unique program challenges students to start their businesses from scratch using real money loaned from a bank. While taking courses together in finance, management, and marketing, the student teams work the entire semester to sell as many products as they can. They develop business plans and tackle real business problems, like supply chain issues, advertising, and balancing budgets. At the end of the semester, all profits are donated to local charities.
Business students at University of La Verne have many opportunities to network and learn more outside the classroom. These opportunities include organizations like Enactus, which implements entrepreneurial projects that empower communities; Delta Sigma Pi, a national business fraternity; and student clubs and organizations focusing on accounting, economics, marketing, finance, management, and more.

Career advising is available to students and recent graduates through the college’s O’Brien Career Center. The center offers guidance to Leopards in search of meaningful and rewarding careers with career preparation resources.
