ULV Doctorate of Business Administration Now Open to International Students

The University of La Verne College of Business is pleased to announce that its Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) program has just received approval to admit international students on an F-1 visa. Why is this such exciting news?

  • International DBA students now have two options: Complete the degree remotely from their home country, or move to the United States to complete the degree in person.
  • International students enrolled in person at the University of La Verne will now qualify for Optional Practical Training (OPT). OPT is a temporary employment authorization that is directly related to an F-1 student’s major area of study. Eligible students can apply to receive up to 12 months of OPT employment authorization in the United States after completing their studies.
  • This approval will allow the university to attract a more diverse and global student body to the on-ground classes in La Verne. International students will bring new perspectives and experiences to the classroom, which will enrich the learning experience for all students.

The DBA program at the University of La Verne is designed for is designed for accomplished executives and entrepreneurs who welcome the challenge of advancing knowledge in their field of study, and who wish to make a lasting contribution in leadership, consulting, research, or teaching.
