College of Business welcomes 2nd DBA cohort in Beijing

From October 20 – 22, 2023, the second cohort of the University of La Verne Doctor of Business Administration, bilingual track, was welcomed at a ceremony in Beijing. Featured speakers included Dean Li Jiaqiang, Vice Dean of the Institute for Advanced Study at Tsinghua University; Dr. Issam Ghazzawi, Professor of Management and Chair of the Department of Management and Leadership, the University of La Verne; and via special welcome video, Dr. Pardis Mahdavi, President of the University of La Verne.

The Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) curriculum is designed to develop inquiring minds in business research and practice.  The DBA provides graduates the necessary tools to take on consulting, research, management duties, and teaching. The bilingual online DBA will be offered by the University of La Verne in the US working in partnership with THH Zhidao Education. The bilingual track is designed for senior executives leaders working full-time in China who seek to contribute to their professional and organization’s success. The requirements of the bilingual track are the same as the US DBA Program except for the language of delivery.
